Zinc sulfide flotation monitoring

PT. Generasi Muda Bersatu, Sukabumi

Observed zinc sulfide concentrate processing with froth flotation, focusing on reagent use and recovery behavior at the scavenging unit.

  • Mapped the process route from stockpile, crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening, filtering, to jumbo bag storage.
  • Reviewed reagent functions including lime, copper sulfate, sodium butyl xanthate, sodium metasilicate, and pine oil.
  • Analyzed 11 days of recovery and reagent data; lime, CuSO4, and xanthate each showed R2 values above 0.84.
